Towns Response to Cancellation of Frozen Dead Guy Days

Last night the Board of Trustees approved Resolution 2020-10 cancelling the 2020 Frozen Dead Guy Days following Boulder County Public Health’s recommendations to cancel all large event activities. We are aware that despite the event being canceled, people are still going to come into town so to help support the community and business owners with this influx in people, the Town is doing the following:
  • Restrooms: The Visitor Center restrooms will be open 24/7 through Monday. We will reassess at that point if we need to continue to keep them open.
  • Trash Cans: The trash cans will all be unlocked and checked routinely for trash build up.
  • Police Department: There will be extra Rangers on for Saturday and possibly Sunday. Nederland officers will be out engaging the community on foot and checking in around town
  • Emergency Services: The Fire Department will have people in town to support in the event of an emergency.
If there are any other pressing matters or areas of concern that you would like to know how the Town is addressing, please contact the Town Clerk Department at 303-258-3266 or townclerk@nederlandco.org.
