The Town of Nederland is seeking a qualified applicant to fill a part-time (averaging 10 hours per week) temporary contracted Sustainability Coordinator to guide and assist in meeting its sustainability goals. Major goals of Nederland are Renewable Energy, Fossil Fuel Reduction, Zero Waste/Waste reduction, and Local Economy & Food systems. This is a contract position that is set to end after one year, with a possibility to renew based upon funding availability and the achievement of expected position outcomes. Anticipated dates of contracted employment are February 1, 2020 – January 31, 2021.
