On October 2, 2019, the recall petitions for Mayor Larsen, Mayor Pro Tem Gustafson and Trustee Masters were deemed SUFFICIENT by the Town Clerk.
The Town Clerk verified enough signatures to satisfy the number of signatures required for each petition is determined by C.R.S. § 31-4-502(1)(d). All the sections of the petitions that were submitted contained a full and accurate copy of the title and text of the petition. C.R.S. § 31-4-502(1). The petition was submitted on September 26, 2019 which is within the 60 day timeframe from when the petition was approved on August 6, 2019. C.R.S. § 31-4-502(2)(a). Each petition included an affidavit of the person who circulated the petition including their address, affidavit that they are eighteen years of age or older and that circulator made no misrepresentation of the petition. C.R.S. § 31-4-502(2)(c).
