Boulder County businesses impacted by the September 2013 floods may be eligible for grants up to $50,000 to cover losses sustained during the disaster as part the Recover Colorado Business Grant program offered through the Colorado Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT).
Community members and business owners are encouraged to attend a free outreach event on Wed., April 12, from 6:30 – 8pm at the Stone Cup, 442 High St., in Lyons.
Mindy Tallent, owner of the Stone Cup and previous grant recipient, is hosting the open house event to acquaint businesses with the grant program.
Marianne Ballantine, Disaster Recovery Counselor for Boulder County, and Susan House, OEDIT Grant Manager, will provide program requirements and processes as well as individualized assistance.
No RSVP is needed. Light refreshments will be served.
To date, over $5M dollars have been awarded to nearly 150 businesses throughout Colorado. Applications are still open for impacted businesses.
