Governor Polis’ Day of Remembrance on May 15, 2020

Tonight we remember the Coloradans who have died due to COVID-19 and stand with those still fighting by wearing a mask, turning building lights red, and observing a minute of silence at 7 pm. Share if you plan on joining.

Tonight at 7 pm buildings around Colorado will turn red to honor those we have lost to COVID-19 and stand together with the families of victims in our fight against this deadly virus. You can join by wearing a mask as a symbol that we will do our part and observing a moment of silence.

We’re all in this together. And tonight we stand united as Coloradans with the families who have lost loved ones to COVID-19. I hope tonight at 7 pm you will join me in wearing a mask and observing a minute of silence.

We have lost many Coloradans to the novel coronavirus. Every one of those has a name, a mother, a father, people who loved them. They’re more than a number. Join us in wearing a mask as a symbol that we will do our part and observing a minute of silence tonight at 7 pm.

Thousands of individuals continue to battle COVID-19 in our state. Tonight we stand with them in their fight and remember those who have lost. Please wear a mask as a symbol that we will do our part and observe a minute of silence tonight at 7 pm. We’re all in this together.
