Excavation will start on Tuesday, September 11th.  Due to the nature of the work, the exact time of the repair is unknown.  We aim to repair the water main Wednesday, September 12th in the afternoon. However, conditions may delay the repair until Thursday the 13th.  The affected areas will lose water during this time, but will be turned on by the end of the day.  Please refer to www.nederlandco.org  for the latest update on water service interruption.

After the work is complete, Town of Nederland Water Department will flush water mains in your area.  Flushing may stir up sediment in the pipes and result in discolored and/or rusty water.

There are no known health hazards associated with discolored water.  If discolored water is apparent, run cold water taps at full force until the water clears.  Avoid washing laundry or using hot water.

If you have any questions or need additional information regarding your water, please call the Nederland Utilities Department at 303-258-7985 or utilities@nederlandco.org.

Thank you for your cooperation and understanding while we make these necessary repairs to the water distribution system.
