The National Weather Service (NWS) in Boulder cordially invites you to participate in a community workshop on “Wildfire Weather”.  This is a wonderful opportunity for you to share your experiences about wildfire weather events in Boulder.  The workshop will be offered twice on Monday, June 12, 2017: in the City of Boulder from noon-2pm at the Boulder Public Library and in the town of Nederland from 6-7:45pm at the Nederland Community Center.  You may attend either session. See below for info and registration details.

In particular, the NWS seeks to gather feedback to understand your community’s communication and messaging needs related to wildfire weather events. The NWS will use your feedback to improve its products, with the ultimate goal of saving lives and reducing wildfire weather impacts to property.

Dr. Gina Eosco, with Eastern Research Group, will conduct and facilitate the workshop, which will last approximately two hours. We look forward to your participation. If you have any questions or need additional information, please let us know.
