Community Update: 2-hour Time Limit Parking Study

Starting June 1, 2017 and running through August 1, 2017, the Town of Nederland/Nederland Police Department (NPD) will be conducting 2-hour time limit parking study along East and West 1st Street, on the Northside of the 1st Street, between Jefferson Street and Snyder Street. The purpose of the study and enforcement, is to collect data and address public parking space abuse, parking space turn-over and public safety. Nederland Public Works is currently installing new 2-hour limit parking signs. The NPD will conduct data collection and parking enforcement during the study period. The NPD will provide written warnings until May 31st. Starting June 1st, and during the 60 day enforcement period, time limit violators will be issued a $75.00 Parking Summons.
