I’m pleased to tell you the Public Utilities Commission this morning approved our request to provide bill credits to Nederland customers affected by the high number of electric outages between August 2013 and January 2014. At this time, we are working to have a credit of $200 appear on your bill in the near future, perhaps by April or May. In addition, Nederland customers will also receive a separate bill credit of $50 linked to the Colorado Quality of Service Plan, most likely in July.
I appreciate the support we have received from the Town of Nederland in this process and I am also pleased the new power line has been providing reliable service since its completion at the end of January. I want to thank each customer for your great patience during this period.
